Review content:
bought my Golf TDI from The Green Car Company. I should have been worried when the battery needed a jump, but the sales guy reassured me that that often happened with cars sitting on the lot. I figured, no problem, because it had a full factory warranty. Within a few weeks, the battery was dying 2 to 3 times per day. I took it to the VW dealer, who put in a new alternator. Didn't fix it. I took it back. The dealer discovered that the previous owner had replaced the radio and driven a bolt through the main electrical harness, so they wouldn't honor the warranty. The Green Car Company's response, ""Stuff happens."" I kid you not. They assured me that they had given it their 16-point inspection, so it was my problem. Mind you, those 16 points include making sure the cup holders work. They just didn't trouble themselves with getting to the bottom of the ""battery dying"" problem. Now it's my, personal $543 problem, Thank you for taking the high road, Green Car Company.
