I took my comforter to the Capri Cleaners on Hwy 27 and it was one of the worst experiences I ever had at a cleaners. I specifically told them of a spot that was on the comforter when I took in; they marked the spot and I left. I picked it up a couple of days later, took it home and when I took it out the plastic I noticed the spot was still there. They agreed to clean it again but didn't offer to issue me a refund for the inconvience of me having to bring it back down. I left it again and returned a day later only to find the spot was still there. This time I spoke with the manager and he said he was unable to get the spot out, refused to refund me the $25 that I had paid to have it clean and became very irate when I demanded some type of compensation. Oh and did I mention that they damaged the comforter while trying to clean it. The owner refused to refund me for the cleaning (although it was not cleaned) and refused to pay for the comforter that they had damaged and refused to purchase me a new one. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was left to purchase a new comforter with my own money, it is a prepaid cleaners so they had already received payment for the cleaning (that was not done) so I was out of a few hundred dollars. However it was a lesson learned; I will NEVER EVER and you should NEVER EVER take an expensive comforter to a $1.75 cleaners because this was truley one time that I got what I paid for. I would not recommend this cleaners to my worst enemy.
