As a baker I appreciate the variety of desserts but $1.29 for a cookie? Seems a bit much for me. While waiting for our food one of the workers was trying to find someone who had ordered a slice of cheesecake and the slice they had cut was super tiny for $4. I hope it was amazing cheesecake! And none of the desserts were labeled, a huge pet peeve of mine. My husband asked for no tomatoes on his panini and was told that they don't do special orders. When we got our food the pickle was on top of the chips and the sandwiches were on top of everything and since they were hot paninis our chips were soft/soggy and tasted like the pickle. My sandwich was pretty good (chicken art.) but my husbands and was disgusting (turkey pesto). I'm guessing that they make their sandwiches ahead of time which is why they dont do special orders and because one side of his sandwich was soggy (the side that was face down). The tomatoes were so ripe he had to scrape them off with a spoon. The pickle had good flavor but it was super soggy, nothing crisp about it and I had to throw it away because it grossed me out. I would have rather gone to Village Baker - I know their stuff is tasty and fresh. Pros: quick service, appealing dessert selection Cons: soggy food, poor customer service
