Review content:
We love Whistle Stop on Hickox. It's clean and safe. It always smells good. The director is great. You really feel like she and the rest of the staff are on your side and they go out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. The price is excellent compared to what some of my co-workers pay at other, simmilar, places. The teachers have fun activities for the kids and everything is seemingly done properly and according to state regulations. My daughter was in the infant room and now she's in the baby room. It's been great so far. The reason why I gave Whistle Stop on Hickox four stars instead of five: Sometimes some of her things (bottles and clothes) go missing but they've always shown back up (except for a couple of little hairbows). That's pretty much going to happen at any day care center. One time, on a Friday, they misplaced her bottles. I didn't make a big fuss about it- not really my style. However, as soon as I mentioned it, the staff started looking everywhere, they called all the teachers at home to see if they knew where the bottles were. They couldn't locate them so they gave me $20 cash to buy some new ones to get through the weekend. One of the teachers found the bottles on Monday morning. The staff apologized profusely and told me to keep the money. No big deal.
