My reservation with Rose over the phone for my rental in Surfside beach was professional & flawless, i always give credit where credit is due.. The credit stops there. Let me start with saying that the house we rented was roomy, it fit us perfect & had great ammenities. The problem is that whoever Rose hires to clean & whoever is supposed to follow up on cleaning with Rose is not doing their job at all !!! The house was DIRTY, dust everywhere, toilets lets say still had remnants of the last renters.. Cobb webbs were in the corners of the showers & bedrooms. The over head hood on the kitchen stove/range was filthy & greasy.. The exterior siding & the exterior deck cielings were filthy & had bee's nest. The patio chairs were filthy. I have pics of all of this !! We were promised a BBQ & there was none, we went & got our own. We called Rose & a rep showed up & fully agreed that it wasnt clean & that he would send cleaners over at about 1:30. When nobody showed at the time we called again & were told 4:00 they would be over, well at 4:40 we called & told them to forget it as we wanted to get our vaca started. At this point we cleaned the bathrooms ourselves. On night 2 I was cooking a pot of sause on the center island stove when the overhead filter came off the stove hood & fell to the side of the pot but the fan prop that came spinning off fell right in my pot of sause..Dust & dirt on the range fan is not what we were now going to eat !!! Talk about angry ! So much for my 2 hour sause.. keep in mind I am there with my Son, Daughter In Law, 3 month old Grandson & Friends.... I did get a call the next day to ask if we were enjoying our vaca & I said yes because we were, notice they never followed up on the dirty house ? LOL...I also within hours of being there & sitting outside started to hear horror strories form passers by about the nightmares they all know & hear about Rose Reality. It was horrible to hear this negative chatter knowing that I just dealt with these folks & spent good money to be there. I heard they tack on a huge amount to the owners actuall asking rental fee. The next time I was told to deal with owners only or a site called VRBO whatever that is...Its actually sad because the lady who i think was named Sheryll at Rose was awesome, helpfull, polite & professional while i booked this & then everyone else has to ruin the great experience that she started...NEVER AGAIN ROSE REALITY !
