I'm in visiting my twin brother here in Pacific Grove and I went out to explore while he was at work. Did a search of 'food' places nearby and Pavel's showed up. I love a good bakery so I decided to walk there.
I could smell the place before I saw it. It has a nice charm and I walked right in while the place was empty. I picked out 2 Chocolate covered Bombolini's (stuffed w/Bavarian cream) and a HUGE cinnamon roll. To my dismay they only took cash or check but the lady behind the counter stated there was an ATM nearby. I was already hooked when I smelled the joint so I made a hasty exit, got my cash and came back for my goodies which they still had ready for me.
The bombolini was REALLY tasty, the cream was light and just sweet enough. & The cinnamon roll is everything you'd ask for in a cinnamon roll!
I definitely want to take my brother back some morning to try a donut!
