I went to see Dr. Ersay in an extremely fragile state last week, and I can honestly say that I have received better advice from a tree. I have been extremely depressed and have tried all kinds of different medication. I told him I wanted to look into other possible conditions that were possibly not being addressed. I told him I no longer wanted to take a benzodiazepine in fear of addiction. You know what he said to me!?! He said, ""Does your husband have a job?"" I said ""yes."" He said, ""Do you have a job?"" I said ""yes."" He said, ""then what do you really have to complain about?"" Umm... excuse me? He seemed to have some kind of preconceived notion as to who I was and looked at me as if I were a spoiled-whiny little yuppy girl. He also said, ""So, what do you want me to do about it? (AREN'T YOU THE DOCTOR?) A REAL doctor would have asked about my previous medications, the dosages they had me on, and tried to find a possible solution as to why they were not working correctly for me. If you are considering this man, he may work for you, but don't be surprised if he's quick to judge and you walk out crying. I did! Pros: Unless you need a reason to commit suicide Cons: Everything about him!
