Review content:
I went to this location with my daughter to try it out, we were dressed and ready. We were told at the Health Show here in Tulsa I could add her on for only $10, other wise I was not going to get her a membership. The sales person took us to a back table to talk and tell me about the membership they offer. She told me it was $34.99 plus tax for me a month and to add my DD it would only be $10 a month plus tax. I'm still thinking this is great. She then said they have a service fee of $139.00 each and that I would need to pay. I did ask for a discount for my daughter. At the Health Show most Gyms were waiving that. I have never had to pay a service fee at a Gym. I then asked about us trying out the circuit today, we could not do that, but she could show us 2 or 3 machines. Ok, that just is not right. I have to pay $329.00 today before we can try it. She said Yes!!! Then she did my measurement and weight and we talked about my goals. She did not do this with my DD even though she wanted the service fee.I ordered two things from Avon because they had a 50% coupon off the service fee for membership. Two weeks later talked to another person about joining. The coupon said a $75.00 value so I'm thinking I'm going to join us both now for $75 each. No-she then tells me at this location there service fee is normally $199. and I could now get $99 off of each membership. Now I'm mad that is now $50 more then what I think I was going to pay. She said they have some kind of Wellness Program at that location and when Avon was working with Curves about the coupon they did not take that in to account. Well I'm just saying that should not be my problem. She said the other Curves in the area may not be offering this Program. I told her I came in today willing to pay the $75 each, that I would not pay that. She then told me if I had another daughter she would work me out a deal. Now I'm thinking ""USED CAR SALES MAN' but I do not have another daughter. More Money?
Pros: Quick work out
Cons: no showers or aerobics
