Review content:
Must have passed by this place 100 times and finally stepped in to check out the grub, which was phenomenal. Came with a group of 5 and we started with some lovely malbec wine (under a great recommendation from the owner) and some little flavorful bruschetta dishes with olives and one with beans. Turns out the person we'd spoken to all night who kept seeing us to make sure everything was okay was actually Tommy! He was so sweet, I really like a place that seems to appreciate our business. We were served warm bread with delicious olive oil to dunk in. After a while Tommy came out apologizing for the wait of our food and brought us little salads with cheese, pinenuts and yummy dressing. I was so happy when our main dishes arrived, I really loved my shrimp with fregula. I'd never sampled fregula and it's like a bigger and better textured cous cous grain, the sauce for the dish had nice spice to it and the pieces of shrimp were big and scrumptious. Around the table I glanced to notice my friends devouring their veal dish, seabass with broccolini, the seafood lasanga, and creamy fettuccine. I was very pleased with the wine, the appetizers and the main courses. I also thought Tommy was a swell guy and I hope he reads this review to know how much I appreciated his warm and friendly atmosphere that he tried to create for us.
