Review content:
The cookie jar is located out in the country which means you get to stray away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
They have outdoor seating available as well as a petting zoo during the summer months, cattle roam by and people are friendly.
The menu is very short which is good IMO. Some restaurants try to offer the world to please everyone and in the end fail.
They offer a daily special that changes each day along with a meat and three type entrees. From grilled meatloaf, hamburger steak, catfish to sides such as greens, potatoes, okra, white beans, pinto beans, cornbread dressing and more.
Their desserts are by far the best as they are made fresh and the assortment is HUGE. They now make cupcakes.
One of their specialties is their Rolls. Much like Red Lobster has cheddar biscuits or Chop House has sourdough they offer made from scratch rolls that are excellent.
Stop by and try them out the next time you want to see the country side.
