Review content:
This was my first time using Dixie?s as a tax service. I made an appointment and when I showed up I sat in the ?waiting area? for over 30 minutes after my scheduled time. This place is a tiny hole in the wall and nothing is kept confidential here. As I sat in the waiting area I could hear the tax preparer ask for a customers SS# 3 times and I heard her repeat it back to him all 3 times. Finally the receptionist told me to come to her desk so she could start entering my information in for when the prepares were actually ready for me. I sat at her desk for about 15 minutes more while she asked me a few questions, answered the business phone, answered her personal cell phone and helped people as they were walking in. Finally when she got back to me a customer came in angry saying he brought in all the info they asked for and they said they would get back to him this morning and he tried calling and no one would answer him or return his call so he came up there to find out what was going on. The receptionist went to a back room and asked Dixie about this mans tax info (I guess they aren?t aware that the customers in the waiting area can hear everything they say in the backroom word for word) Dixie was rude and said she didn?t have time to look it over and the man would have to wait. The receptionist came to the front and told the man she didn?t know what was going on with it. By this time he was really mad and asked if he had to schedule another appointment just to speak to dixie about it. The receptionist totally ignored him and so the man left storming out. When Dixie came to the front waiting area the receptionist told Dixie the man was mad and Dixie?s Response was ?TOUGH!? After hearing all of this and witnessing everything I asked for all my papers back and walked out. The show really poor customer service and obviously I wouldn?t want my taxes done at a place like this. What would happen If I had a problem with my taxes? Would her response be ?tough??
