This is the worst customer service!!! When we went for our fitting we were told that we had to pay $30.00 extra if we were over the size 16, well of course I was because I was 8 months pregnant and according to the sales lady I was not going to lose my pregnany weight by the date of the wedding in September 2012. I guess the sales lady is really smart to know that I was not going to lose any of my pregnancy weight huh? Then I ordered a $30.00 bolero jacket when I went for my dress fitting in April 2012 by the Cheryl did the order for a wedding. A week before the wedding I get a call saying my dress is ready to be picked up and was told that the jacket was not made but nobody knew WHY... I called and talked to the owner Nancy and was told that I had to return to get the bolero jacket special made hmmm. my husband and 2 other wedding party members were there with me the same day and none of us heard about me driving another 2.5 hours to Lakewood again to get the SPECIAL fitting for the bolero jacket. I told Nancy I was not happy with the lack of communication between the employees and clients and I was going to make sure people knew about the poor customer service. 5 mins. later I get a call from bridal world telling me that I need to pay my dress cash only. I guess because they thought I would put a STOP payment on my check lol. I would guess that has happened to them before, I wonder why? DO NOT deal with bridal world! did I forget to mention that I now have to find someone to do the alterations on the dress 5 days before the wedding because bridal world cannot do the alterations.
