Review content:
We've eaten at the Gresham & downtown Portland Typhoon locations several times over several years and have never been disappointed. We always share a few starters and a noodle dish as well as pad thai. Their calamari, string beans and nibbler platter are all wonderful. The chefs will cook to order the level of spice you want on your food, so don't hold back if something is listed as very spicy or mild. A couple of other reviewers gave mediocre ratings, I say, call the manager and tell them about your experience and give them another shout. It could be you visited Typhoon on an off day. Try them again, you won't be disappointed.
Pros: Consistent, full flavored food, ample portions, reasonably priced, usually little to no waiting, plenty of tables + a full service bar.
Cons: Service can be a bit spotty, usually pretty good though.
