What is it about Gresham? This little 'burb seems to get short-changed on everything. My last (and only) dining experience at the Typhoon!Gresham is a perfect example. I have long been a fan of Typhoon! on Broadway and have started many a weekends there enjoying the happy hour. after much raving about Typhoon! I decided to take my co-workers to the Typhoon!Gresham by our office for a quick lunch. I was so embarrassed by the time it was over. The waiter seemed to be medicated and could not even tell us about any specials or even which types of sodas they served. He had to come back to the table 3 times to re-take our orders. The papaya salad was insanely hot at this location - nothing like what I've had at the Broadway Typhoon!. The stir-fry ginger beef was horrible, the meat tough and stringy. The pineapple curry (which I always get at the Broadway location) was drowned in a sub-par curry sauce that was more Jif's peanutbutter than true curry. It was a bad meal from start to finish. This was the first introduction to Thai food for some of the people and I'm sure their last based on the experience. Cons: bad food, over-priced, horrible service
