I sold my car to Rt 128 based on a friend's recommendation. He knew a guy that sold two cars for the junk yard and got $200 each. So I was really excited when I got $275 for mine. It was really easy. They just left me the check and I didn't have to be there when they came to tow it away. (It had significant front end damage.)
As far as the rudeness, I don't think that's really the case. Yes, the gentleman I spoke to was a bit gruff, but he wasn't being mean. Just trying to conduct business quickly and efficiently without a lot of pleasantries...which I appreciate. It's a junk yard after all, not a 4 star hotel. I'm very satisfied with the service.
