Review content:
Not impressed. I think they're a scam. Why? Because when I and my 5-year-old daughter recently met the owner Joe for a ""private interview"", within 3 minutes he handed me a price list that added up to a minimum of $1,000 for head shots, comp cards, etc. When I said I could get all that done on my own because I know people in the business (which is true), he immediately that comp cards MUST BE purchased through Dynasty which costs $495 for 150 cards. BTW. You can get comp cards printed on your own for about $100 for 500 cards. Here's the kicker. The ""private interview"" was supposed to be for Joe to meet my daughter to determine if she had potential. The problem is he barely acknowledged her presence during the interview. No surprise there. He was too busy reviewing his price list with me. I'll tell you this, he must be a good salesman. While I was there, the waiting room was packed with kids and their parents having photo shoots done. Keep in mind, according to Dynasty's price list, they get anywhere from $275 to $525 for each shoot. Throw in the optional add ons of make-up artist, hairstylist and clothing stylist and you're talking an additional $250 to $500. And don't forget about the $495 you MUST pay Dynasty for their comp cards. I asked a few of the parents that were there if they're kids had gotten any jobs through Dynasty. None had.
