Family Ford is not at all what they make themselves out to be. Leased a vehicle from them 3 years ago. Through the years the Service Dept has been so offensive in their dealing with me. Insisting that I needed work and maintenence on the vehicle that was not necessary due to low mileage and EXCELLENT CARE ON MY PART! Service Dept insisted that brakes needed to be replaced at 28,000 miles. Took vehicles into an independent mechanic only to find out that FORD was placing brakes made from RECYCLED steel on NEW VEHICLES! At 28,000 miles the brakes were black and falling apart because of the shoddy brakes Ford placed on a BRAND NEW VEHICLE. When confronted with the issue the OWNER of FAMILY FORD simply stated 'That is above my pay grade'. SHAMEFUL - the owner of this dealership could not care one bit that his Company was doing this? Continue to do business with Family Ford and you will end up paying dearly. BTW- I replaced the brakes independently since the Service Dept was so rude and demeaning to me when attempting to have regular maintenance done on the vehicle. Family Ford should realize that they will lose business continuing down this path. I will ensure that everyone I know never does business with Family Ford.
