Review content:
Our opinion about The Enclave has changed since 2009. The interiors of the apartments are nice and have great features, but it has gone way downhill here. Trashy, selfish people are the norm now: loud parties, loud ghetto music, and the population has gotten younger (family co-signing for their lease). As soon as things get really ethnic that is always a sign of a rapid decline for any neighborhood. People in real estate know this as a fact and we know this from experience. The clubhouses, two on this property, can be rented for $250 for five hours of noisy hell for the surrounding renters, except one clubhouse, the one nearest the general manager's building is not rented out very often. Huh, wonder why? The management does what they can, like putting a Band-aid on a gushing wound, which isn't enough, but they go through the motions. Summertime has brought out the worst in the residents here. We don't even attempt to go to the pools. It's like going to a public pool where there are urinating toddlers and rowdy, MTV-style pool parties. There is security, but they are only successful at enforcing the ""two guests per resident"" rule and that is it. The Enclave population of children has exploded and their presence is known in loud and unpleasant ways. We are miserable here and will not renew our lease like most of our neighbors. I understand the renewal rate here is below 50%. Wonder why? All of the fancy distracts are here, but it does not make us blind to the realities of living day-to-day life here at The Enclave.
Pros: management, interior of apartments, upkeep of plants, garage with every unit, resident business center with fax and computers. WiFi in common areas.
Cons: Noise from freeways and parites at clubhouses and pool area, 7%-10% rise in rent built into lease.
