What an amazing store! Almost every type of parrot imaginable wqs perched in a huge play area in the center of the store. There were Cockatoo's, Macaw's, Grey's, Amazon's, Pionus, Quakers, Conures, Ringnecks.....wow! Kevein, the owner could have charged admission to the place it was that much fun! The only cages we saw were the ones for sale, no bird was in a cage. We had to laugh because he did have a few books for sale but most of them were chewed and one in particular, a book on Amazon's was almost coverless due to a wandering Macaw's beak. Kevin was EXTREMELY friendly, knowledgable and approachable. You could tell that he really loves these birds. He has a payment plan of 50% down and $100 a week if you are strapped for cash and that brings me to another joy about this place: the prices! So reasonable! For example there is a very well known and popular breeder here in Queen Creek who is selling her baby African Grey's for $1300 which is not outrageous for a Grey at all. But the store sells them for $1199! And this is not like a 'puppy mill' scenerio, all these birds are healthy and come from good licensed breeders. When was the last time you found a store selling a pet for less than the breeder? The price for the cages are amazing too. There was one cage that could fit two conures easily, made of powder coated steel on a stand with wheels which had a seed catcher and also opened up on the top if you wanted to put a perch there that was only $209! That same cage would run you around $400 or so in any of the major pet(co/smart) stores easily. Kevin keeps the store very clean, in fact it seems that he is always cleaning, lol! If you purchase a bird from him you can bring it back to have its nails and wings clipped for free too. He also boards birds as well.
