I live in Anchorage Alaska and purchased a 2001 F550 with a 7.3L Power Stoke engine from Debary Truck Sales in Sanford Florida that I found on their website. The sales person assured me the truck had been gone through by their mechanic and everything checked out fine. To make a long story short, the day after picking it up, the truck was not fine so I contacted Debary Truck Sale about the limited amount of power the truck had and possible injector issues. The owner suggested I bring the truck back (about 50 miles one way) to have his mechanic check it out. I then had the truck dropped off to his mechanic and the repair estimate came out to about $2500.00. When I contacted the owner with the estimate he informed me I purchased the truck ?as is? and he wasn?t responsible for the repairs and was unwilling to even split the costs with me. I have plans to expand my business and add vehicles, but will not be purchasing or referring anyone to Debary Truck Sales in the future.
