This moves straight to the top of my sushi list. My wife and I had the omakase--eight courses, every one a winner, and with a lot more variety than your typical old-school sushi spot too. The vegetables and other ingredients are as fresh as the fish--I don't think I've ever lingered over a peppercorn before, but I did here. The decor is not particularly impressive, but it has a sceney atmosphere without being oppressive and you really might sit next to a movie star. Plus, it's good value: expensive, yes, but not as stratospheric as you might fear.
