I was referred to J Frankly Design by a close friend who had worked with the owner, Jamie Dooley. I had recently divorced, and needed to completely renovate and furnish my new home.
In this day and age in which we live, unfortunately, the art of listening to the customer has been lost and we are relegated to the respective vendor?s cookie cutter solution. This was definitely not the experience I had with Jamie and his staff at J Franklyn Design. Jamie listened for the type of style I was thinking of (even if it didn?t match his own personal style), and provided insightful suggestions and modifications to my plan.
I found Jamie to be very creative, open, honest, and his pricing is very competitive. The selection of vendors he works with is extensive and broad, and with Jamie?s assistance I had no problem putting my project into action.
In addition, I live in California. So, there was an added layer of complexity to my plan. However, Jamie and his staff remotely coordinated all of the contractors and the furniture arrived safe and sound as planned.
If you are looking for a designer who will truly vest himself into you and your project, I highly recommend Jamie and J Franklyn Design.
