Review content:
So we were visiting grandparents in Georgetown and my teenager needed to have her 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed. The dentist was kind enough to phone in the prescription at the CVS on our way back to Grandpa's house. I was surprised that there was no drive-thru, as I was accustomed with our local CVS. No prob, I thought..... it was phoned in and will be ready. There were no customers inside, but the Rx had not been filled yet.
Real problem came when the tech entered the wrong insurance info and said it was not valid. I am at our local CVS every month, so I said check under my husband's name. She told me our insurance had been canceled! I paid cash so I could get my miserable kid back to Grandpa's house.
Insurance assured me there were no problems, and CVS would refund my money. Local CVS said only Georgetown pharmacy could handle it. I called long distance to Georgetown to ask to just credit my card. They basically said they couldn't do anything unless I was standing in front of them. Wow!
