Review content:
My husband and I went there after seeing ads on TV. Seemed like a good place to get a steak. We ordered a filet of tenderloin and the large sirloin. When our plates arrived the meat looked nothing like a filet or sirloin! The filet which I've had many times is ususally 2-3 inches thick. This one was 1/2"" and looked like they had butterflied it, which even at 1"" I've never seen one that thin. It was tender but tasted like a tenderizer had been used on it. My husband's sirloin didn't look like any meat you would serve to a person. It was only about 1/4"" thinck and was so full of gristle that he could only eat less than 1/4 of it. The rest was all waste. I wouldn't feed that to my dog.
We were very dumfounded as to how this restaurant is still in business with the poor quality of meat they serve. I assume most people must order the fried shrimp or burgers. Maybe they are okay. But, for the price we paid- $19 per steak it was a rip off. You can go to Texas Land and Cattle and get a real steak for that price!
