After visiting DOWNTOWN area this summer I ran across the Silver Spur and I just could not pull myself away it...it's in the MENGER HOTEL. WHO KNEW? Walking down the side walk in front of the Menger Hotel as you walk past the windows all the glittz and glam caught my eyes. I just had to go in there....This Women's speciality shop is filled with the most beautiful clothing I have ever seen. Let me tell you LADY's if you looking to turn heads on a night on the town, this is the place to shop. They have all kinds of things with rinestones and swarwoski crystals on it. The jewerly is just beautiful! The people there are so friendly and if you can't find what you are looking for in just the right size, they can even order it for you. I have never been treated like a queen before trying on all these beautiful clothes. I know during Christmas, The Rodeo and Fiesta this will be the best place to shop if you really want to make a statement, ALL THEIR CLOTHES ARE VERY BLING BLING!. The Sales clerk said that store Silver Spur has been there for many years...and I hear they will be having a website in the works really soon. If anyone ever goes downtown don't forget to check out this shop...it is so fun! I ran across it by taking the lower level out on the sidewalk from the Rivercenter Mall, by Dillards, heading towards the Alamo, it's right in front of Alamo plaza, in the Menger hotel...
