Kiko's is irrefutably one of the best places to eat in Corpus. The portions are huge, and the prices don't absolutely demolish your budget. It really is the best mexican food i've had in my life...and growing up in south texas, you definitely get your share of mexican food. As much as I love Kiko's however, they REALLY do need a second location. The wait becomes INSANE during peak hours. You would think that you could just steer clear of the restaurant during busy hours, but it's harder than you think. The best time to go is, of course, between lunch and dinner, when the wait wouldn't be too unbearable. During peak hours the wait can get up to 3 hours long. I, myself, have had to wait 2 hours just to get a table, and we've ended up leaving numerous times because the wait wasn't worth the GREAT food. I would, however, suggest calling ahead. I've been there dozens of times, and pretty much everything on the menu is great. So if you don't like extremely cramped spaces and you're impatient, I would stay away. If you don't mind the wait, then enjoy the great food!
