I stopped into Java by chance, just because i needed a caffeine fix and loathe Starbucks. there is a Starbucks right in front of Java, blocking its view from the street, so it can be a little tricky to find, but worth the effort. whatever, the shop is adorable and since they roast on premises, it smells fantastic. Apparently, they only brew a few coffees daily for samples and sell 16 oz for a dollar. I took some beans home with me and it pretty much converted me. they have a great website too, with lots of informations about the different coffees and teas. 5 Stars indeed!!!
Pros: fresh coffee, fast service, locally owned
Cons: somewhat hard to find, no place to sit and relax
