9/27/11 my husband was involved in an accident in the ft worth area...he was taken to jps hospital ER...we live in mobile, al...i was totally frantic to get info on his condition..i was told a phone would be taken to him or someone would call me as soon as they could...i received no calls from anyone...i was sick with worry..after hours of waiting i jumped in my car and started to drive 10 hours just to get to my husband... the nurse i spoke to had her own opinion as to my concerns because my husband heard every complaint she made after my calls...she did not know he was right behind the curtain... that was totally unprofessional, i realize the hospital is busy, but someone could have called and let me know something...he just had a heart attach with surgery in january,2011.. he was rearended at a hight speed by a big truck...of course i was concerned. i got to new orleans when finally ;my husband called saying he was ok....thanks JPS...for your call to calm me and reasure me of his condition...
