To those that feel Video Only gave them great service and a great price at the time of purchase you have been duped. I purchased a 52"" JVC within the last 18 months. In addition, I purchased a service contract in which the representation was made "" it covers everything"" except physical damage. I was very happy the first several months. However, when my television started to have a problem I contacted video only for service. They directed me to a 800 number. Long story short, I was told that it sounded like the bulb and they would fix it but wanted me to know that it would only be replaced once regardless of the length of contract. I found this odd because this was not a provision communicated to me when I made the purchase. I called back to video only and asked if this was in fact true. I was literally told it was part of the ""fine print"" of the contract. Of course this was not communicated to me at the time of purchase.....as if I would have asked if bulbs were covered! I asked if I could come to the store to pick up a copy of the service contract. I was told they don't keep any of the service contracts in the store and I would have to call GE to get a copy. Shame on me for not asking for a copy at the time of purchase...even though I would not have been able to get one. Shame on Video Only for selling service contracts and representing them as total coverage when in fact they are not. When I called to speak to someone in their corporate offices I was told that they were privately owned and the owner is not avaiable to speak to customers. I have never written a letter of complaint to a company before nor have I ever posted a complaint on the internet before. I challenge anyone reading this to get proof of what a Video Only service contract covers from one of their stores. You won't! You have to take their word for what is covered and their word is not truthful. So I now have a televison with 2 1/2 years of warranty left on it in which some items are not warranted! Cons: Sleazy sales tactics. Don't stand behind their promise of service.
