This was the absolute worst experience of any design, fabric or upholstery business in 20 years of work with this industry. To begin, we came into the store because the quality of fabrics available for such a low price was 'too good to be true.' Alas, that phrase is all too correct in this instance. While the fabrics available are priced quite low, the cost reduction is not worth a 300% increase in delay of receipt of the fabrics ordered, nor the fact that none of the order was correct. Curtains that were ordered and expected to be fabricated by this business were both the wrong fabric and incorrect size. They also came over 3 months after order, and a DAILY presence in the store to demand the product after 3 months of no communication from the owner on why the delay. Other fabric that was ordered and requested to be backed for upholstery (thankfully, we did not expect this so-called business to do the upholstery) was delayed 4 months, and again no communication from the owner on the delay. When the fabric finally DID arrive, it was stained to ruin and perforated holes along the entire length of the fabric. When I finally did talk with the owner of the store (after a threat of a lawsuit), the owner began blaming every other person even remotely related. It took 3 weeks of constant phone-calls to get a credit for the ruined fabrics. In sum: Cheap fabric does not make up for the quality of the product being made incorrectly, with wrong fabric, and ruined. Also, the absolute lack of communication to clients in a client-based work is not only astounding, but pitiable.
