I hadn't heard of this place until my husband and I started dating. He and his roommates ate at the Rice King at least twice a month (one of his roommates went at once or twice a week!). From the first time I set foot in the place, I was hooked. The lunch specials are an incredible deal--a HUGE plate heaping with more food than you can possibly eat, plus soup on the side. The owner, Victor, is a gem. He knows us by name and always stops to talk. What a fabulous, comfortable restaurant. We love it!
Pros: a TON of food for very little money, fast and friendly service
Cons: the decor isn't super fancy? that's all I can think of
