My fiance and I visited the store and their next door wine bar ""Maisano's Wine by the Glass"" during this past Christmas holiday. We have enjoyed shopping from this superb wine store past several times we've been there because of nice selection and helpful, friendly staff. We always find something good for both my fiance (an avid wine lover with refined taste) and I (casual wine drinker who enjoys nice wine for reasonable prices). They are willing and happy to help you find what you are looking for. I also like the brightness and how clean the store looks, unlike some of the other places I have been on the coast.
We also enjoyed our first visit to their wine bar, and loved the idea that we can try different wines for whatever amount we want because they offer full glass, half glass and 1oz. tasting size in most wine they carry. Their wine stocked shelf is impressive and fun to look at. Although their food selection was pretty nice, we thought they could use a little improvement on the taste part. Overall, outstanding wine shop & bar and I wish we had them in my neighborhood so we can visit more often. Good job!
