My orthopedic surgeon advised me to find a physical therapy clinic in my neighborhood as removal of hardware from my ankle and fusion was sufficiently painful to warrant avoiding subway stairs to Manhattan. I was fortunate enough to follow his advice and after searching the Internet and getting recommendations from VNS, I selected NY Rehab because of the variety of medical and physical therapy services available. NY Rehab has been the most professional and helpful of the three prior physical therapy clinics I have attended over the past 20 years. The knowledgeable staff has helped ease the pain resulting from the surgery and provided effective physical therapy techniques leading to my walking without the usual arthritic pain. I found that the stretching and recommended home exercises have succeeded in a remarkable improvement in my gait, balance and strength. I value the services at NY Rehab and recommend this Clinic very highly.
