See the 'contributor' one star review, pretty much says it all. There are three Italian restauarnts in three blocks on River Road here and they are all lousy. And I swear that I saw the EXACT same pork dish here as at Robertos...I think Robertos, Vesp and Vecchia must have the same kitchen connected by tunnels to all three. Want actual Italian food at a decent price: GO TO ANY OF A 100 PLACES MANHATTAN AND THEY MAKE THESE LOOK LIKE KANSAS. Shame, too, because good Italian food really isn't that hard to do. Pros: nice room... Cons: lackluster food
