My mother, son, & I decided to try Amici since we were staying in the hotel next door while I was home hunting just prior to our move to the area (March 2010). The restaurant advertised award-winning pizza and delivery. However, they didn't deliver on either. When I called to have a pizza delivered, I was told they couldn't deliver at that time. When I asked why, the person on the phone rudely told me that she was too busy to answer my questions and ""Do you want to order or not?"" If I'd known any other place to go, I wouldn't have. When I walked over to the restaurant to pick up our pizza at the time they told me it would be ready, I sat at the bar for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. Right after I arrived, another customer came in to pick up a carry-out order. She sat at the bar for 10 minutes before she managed to flag someone down. (By the way, they had one table of 4 people in the entire restaurant at the time, and we saw at least 4 staff members, including a bar tender, a server, a mystery employee who seemed to be performing host duties, and someone who seemed to work in the kitchen. I heard all of those people talking to other people in the kitchen area.) The other carry-out customer's order was brought out before mine (I still hadn't been acknowledged), and it was wrong. She told the server this, and the server argued with her and called her liar. Five minutes later, the server took the order back, and when she came back to the dining area, she still ignored me. At that point, I had to threaten to leave, and finally, my pizza magically appeared -- nearly half an hour after it was supposed to be ready for pick up. To top it all off, when I was finally able to eat the pizza, it was burned on the outside edges and nearly raw in the center. It was the worst pizza I've ever had. I know they have a full menu, but judging from the pizza, I don't want to try it, and the service was horrible enough to keep me from ever going back. The only awards I can see this place winning fall into the ""Worst of..."" category. Cons: Rude staff, Awful food
