Review content:
I've been shopping at Bargain City for over 5 years. I visited the location today (3:30p.m.) and located a really nice black Gap jacket. While taking off the jacket the stapled price tag fell off. I proceeded to the counter to purchase the item and was informed that they couldn't sell it to me until the price was verified. I had no problem with this since there are many dishonest people and switching tags occur often. I asked the young lady if she could place my name on the item so that once the price was verified it wouldn't be put back on the floor since I really wanted to buy the item. The young lady apologized and informed me to come back on Monday. Upon leaving the store I called to speak with a manager to get a clearier understanding of the store policies. A manager on duty explained that there is nothing they can do and the item would go back on the floor. I tried to get a better understanding from the manager on duty but the language barrier made it difficult. After about a minute or so she indicated that I could call and speak to Sarah but she was not willing to give me her name and proceeded to tell me ""As I told you the item is going on the floor call and speak to Sarah, Understand and hung up the phone."" I've never experienced such poor customer service in my life. I'm still in total shock that someone could be so rude. I now understand why people spend more money on the same or similar items because customer service is key. Pros: Great Bargins Cons: Poor Customer Service
