Review content:
I've been a Matt Murphy fan since it opened and have found the food, whether casual or more complicated always good and sometimes surprisingly so. It's convenient and offers a fine selection of nibbles to have with a great selection of beers. Frequently crowded, it doesn't have the ambience for a romantic dinner but is great for pals getting together. The staff is always helpful and lots of fun. My only complaint is that the kitchen isn't open past 10 pm during the week! Brookline Village could use a good late night kitchen guys and this one would be ideal.
Pros: Great location, excellent food surprising for a bar, great staff
Cons: Lots of noise, can be a long wait for a table, kitchen closes at 10 pm
