Review content:
We love to go to Matt Murphy's on a cold winter night. The food is kind of Irish comfort food -- my favorite is the crispy, buttery half roasted chicken with delicious mashed potatoes. The atmosphere is a very authentic pub feel: small, cozy, and family style -- the tables are very close together and you may find yourself sharing a large table with another party. But that's all part of the charm. We've met lots of nice people here and had great conversations with people we had never met before. Great beer on tap, and great Irish soda bread served with a giant slab of butter. It can get crowded sometimes, but it's definitely worth a go.
Pros: food, ambience, price
Cons: can get very crowded
