Do you think it would be interesting or even inspiring to have been able to hear monks singing solemnly in the grand churches of centuries past? Come to the free Sunday evening all-male choir performance at St. Marks live at 9:30 p.m. About 500 people fill the church just to hear the choir, their unaccompanied voices rising and echoing throughout the 70 year old, 20-story hollow of the church. You don't have to be episcopalian, or even religious, to be inspired by this touch of religious-art-music. It appears that most attendees are neither, but all leave satisfied and thinking good thoughts. This is popular every week; get there early, or you may have to sit on the floor. Pros: 1 of a kind in seattl, inspiring
