Review content:
We absolutely LOVE to eat out and I didn't think there was a restaurant within 50 miles of our home in White House that we hadn't tried at least once. When my wife asked where I wanted to go Friday to celebrate Father's Day I said ""Surprise me"", and I expected Caraba's, Logan's, Kabuto, or another of our favorites to be the destination. I couldn't believe that only a few miles from home she found Steamboat Bill's, and what a surprise it was! The place just has a great sea-side vibe, we remarked at how it reminded us of our vacations to Dauphin Island. Our server was an absolute sweetheart who obviously loved her job, in fact the entire staff was outstanding. With six children we are always price-conscious and S.B.'s really delivered a value with huge portions and generous refills. But the best part was the authentic, correctly cooked & seasoned Cajun food, as good as any I've had. The Entoufee-topped baked potato was incredible, the Catfish was wonderful and the steak was perfect, two BIG thumbs up on this one!!
Pros: Ambience
Cons: The only 'Gator was the huge stuffed one in the lobby
