Took my car in there after having rough idle and check engine light come on-Called Jim at 8 am on friday to bring my car in- he said he would get right on it-had it there by 9am- waited until the next afternoon and called- was told he was busy and hadnt had time to get to it...I explained I was taking off work to get this complete and it was costing me even more to wait. He assured me he would be able to get it diagnosed that day, which he did call me back hours later and told me it would be $477.00 for the repairs caused from my intake manifold and a faulty hose- He said this is the problem- I told him to fix it- as they were closed on Sunday I called back on Monday at which point he told me that there was a problem- It didnt fix the problem and he admitted he wasnt willing to pursue the problem further as he doesnt have the know-how to work on Cadillac Engines...and told me to have it towed to the dealership for repairs...After paying him for the ""service"" he performed I had to have it towed out to the dealership for a additional 100 bucks- Once at the dealership I had them do their diagnosis and they found my shrader valve had been tampered with and broken- now my vehicle is leaking fuel everywhere....Wasnt told this from A&W and will never ever bring my car or any mode of transportation to them-Lesson learned- cheaper and friendly doesnt always do the job- I will never bring my car back there and suggest you do the same if you own a newer vehicle. So in the end cost me 500.00 bucks for him to take 5 days and break a valve- Thanks A&W!
