Review content:
Savoy touts itself as a ""fine dining"" experience-- but since the servers seem mostly concerned with quick table turnover, it might as well be some burger joint or pizza parlor. It's a shame you're not allowed to enjoy the creative offerings prepared by the talented chef. Savoy staff doesnt seem to realize the pace of the dining experience plays an important role in customer satisfaction. We hadnt quite decided on our entrees when we were informed that ""this table has another reservation on it"" and that ""the hostess was getting concerned"". This was said NOT as we lingered over several cups of coffee at the end of the meal (that's understandable), but just as our appetizers and first glasses of wine were being served! There are lots of great restaurants in Asheville--so unless you enjoy fast food pace at fine dining prices, I would strongly recommend dining elsewhere.
