Review content:
This pet store is so horrible. Their animals are so ill and kept in ways that are completely inhumane and abusive. There is a poor sphynx kitty there, for example, that is skin and bones. He looks so sad and unhealthy. He is used for breeding. The shop refuses to sell him so that they can continue to make money off of him, leaving him condemned to a life in a cold and empty cage. So far, he has lived like that for at least 3 years. It is so inhumane and heartbreaking. One of the owners, Charlotte Hornsby, tried to tell me that he is her personal pet, well loved and cared for, and that she brings him to the shop daily so that others can observe and enjoy him. Right. Who brings their personal cat away from home everyday, and puts him in a cage for display? That lie sounds just as abusive as the real story to me. Meanwhile, an employee told me this cat is not her personal pet, and that every night, he is put in back with the female sphynx in yet another cage. They have no blankets, no toys, no room to run around, no love. If you care about animals at all, please DO NOT shop at this Pet Kingdom. Read the many horror stories that have been reported on the Consumer Affairs website. This site won't let me link it, but just search Consumer Affairs Pet Kingdom. I can only hope they get shut down soon. If you want a special breed, please go online, do your research and find a loving breeder who puts their heart and soul into taking care of their animals. Please, let's put an end to businesses like Pet Kingdom. Do not give them any of your money.
