My first real job was at La Ca?ada Hardware. I was 15 years old. John was the owner. He was a great guy. He alwayse gave young, high school kids a chance to work (assuming they were interested in the hardware store). The best Summer High School job I ever had. It really stinks that La Ca?ada Hardware couldn't keep the doors open. And it double stinks that a place like Sport Chalet opened a ""monstrosity"" of a shopping center in La Ca?ada. The town is really changing for the worse. I also really liked working with Joy, the Manager.
