Review content:
My wife is from Trinidad so anytime we can have authentic food from her native land she won't let me waver. Our recent trip to Miami landed us at LC Roti Shop. I admit that we try to make doubles roto etc at home so it really makes you appreciate when they are done right. A previous review said as authentic as Trinidad. They did not lie. LC was sweet and gracious as we watched raw dough transform into chicken shrimp and beef rotis. We love them. I had a Carib beer as we watched our delectable treat be made. Roti is so easy to eat that my American palat can handle it. Not spicy not sweet but very filling. I layered on the pepper sauce we ordered on the side and all the folks in the room from Trinidad looked at me like I was crazy. I see why, the pepper was incredibly hot but it had a great flavor. I know I have rambled on this but it truly is as authentic as they come and the Trinidad charm always helps!
