I forgot to renew my driver's license and it expired. I was sort of dreading going to the driver license place because I assumed it would be a hassle.
When I arrived there were many people ahead of me but I was greeted at the door by a friendly receptionist and given a number. The people ahead of me were moved through the system quickly, and my number was called way before I expected it to be, given the large number of people.
The lady who processed my application was very efficient and after my photo was taken I was given a temporary license. The whole process was surprisingly fast and painless.
I just wanted to say I was very pleasantly surprised by the speed, and friendliness of the staff. I know it isn't easy dealing with the public, and I wanted to say I really appreciated the way the staff at the license bureau made my visit go quickly and efficiently.
