Review content:
I remember when this place first opened, it was the place to go. Over the years it has become rundown and cheap! The food has really gone downhill too. You can't get crablegs on weekends anymore, and most of the food on the buffet is overheated and dried out. Not worth what you have to pay if you don't have a comp to use. Many times staying in the hotel, our room(s) had peeling wallpaper, dirty carpets and/or burnt out lights etc... It's always really HOT in the rooms too. No matter what you do, the rooms are stuffy and hot. I would give it a one star rating in quality of the hotel / buffet. There are newer hotels in Blackhawk with much nicer accomodations and better food choices. You get what you pay for. Pros: Large Casino / Hotel Cons: Rundown guest room and nasty buffet
