Review content:
I work a regular 9-5 and my motorcycle refused to start one day so I had it towed over to Charlie?s Place. I stopped by the shop on my way home from work and talked to the mechanic about what things I wanted fixed and he said he would call me the next day with an estimate. The next day the mechanic gave me a call and told me how much the things I wanted fixed would cost and that I should have the motorcycle tuned up. He said that he spent an hour diagnosing the bike and the only reason he could find for it not starting was that the battery was dead and I would need a new one. He quoted me $75 for diagnosing a dead battery, $250 for the tune up, $65 to adjust the clutch, $75 to adjust the starter clutch, $125 to replace one fork seal, $100 to replace the started button, $65 to install a new brake line and clean out the master cylinder, $35 for a new battery and $75 for a new clutch line. I approved the tune up the battery, brakes, the clutch line he quoted me $336 for the service. The mechanic called me at about 8pm Friday night and said it was ready to pickup. At 5pm on Saturday Charlie called me and demanded that I come pick the bike up immediately. I arrived and found that a new battery was not installed, the brake line was only taped over and a fuel filter was not installed as promised as part of the tune up. Charlie refused to listen to my requests to finish repairing the bike as I requested and demanded that I pay the bill in full immediately and leave. He charged me a grand total of $446 for a tune up a clutch cord, a battery and a taped over brake line.
Pros: Half the Service Half The Time
Cons: You are still going to roll away with a broken bike
