Review content:
I have driven by Noosa many times before actually dining there. I'm so glad I finally tried it. I can't believe a restaurant this good is in Mentor! I love fine dining and figured the only place I can get this is Tremont, W. 6th or out of town. We started w/the calamari w/a spicy thai chili sauce. Most tender calamari ever! And the chili sauce was a GREAT departure from boring marinara sauce usually found w/calamari. What a mouth-watering winner. My friend started w/the tomatoe bisque soup which was to die for. I had lamb chops w/polenta that was drizzled w/ sauce. Also to die for. Perfectly cooked lamb, stunning presentation, lick-the- plate good sauce. And my friend's entree was equally phenomenal. The service was great. The only downside is the decor. It has a decidedly suburban feel and isn't anywhere near as sophisticated or upscale as the food. While the restaurant is well-lit....dim lighting w/candles....giving it great mood appeal, the decor takes the overall feel of the restaurant down a few notches. Despite that, the food is amazing. I will go back often and highly recommend it. There is a little of everything on the menu from steak, to fish, to pasta, to chops. Everything we had was top notch!
