Review content:
I went with my boyfriend to Der Braumeister for sweetest day dinner and the service was awful. First when we sat down we saw that one of our water glasses had lipstick on it. Then I was told they did not have sprite so when the waiter came back he was giggling and said ""whoops we do have sprite but here's your root beer."" The appetizer came after 30 minutes and the toppings on it were way too large to be on such a small pizza and we couldn't cut them because we didn't have any silverware due to the fact that no one had brought us any. We had to ask for silverware and the waiter laughed again and said that he meant to get us some earlier. Then after we finished the appetizer I had to asked the waiter again if he could please bring us some napkins because he hadn't provided us with any. He said once again that he had meant to bring us some earlier. I also had not received my side salad or rolls that came with my entree, so I had to asked the waiter once more if I was going to get them. He said, surprisingly, that he had meant to get them for me. At this point we asked to speak to the manager. She came over and asked what was wrong, we started by mentioning the lipstick on the glass and she quickly said she'd take care of the glass and started to walk away. I had to tell her as she was walking away, that the glass was not the only problem we had experienced. We explained everything and she said she'd handle it and walked away. We waited ten minutes and she never returned. We put our coats on and started to walk out and that's when we saw the manager just standing behind the bar. Another waitress asked, what was wrong and we told her we were leaving and she went to get the manager again. When the manager came over, she asked what was going on, and we told her that we needed to leave and her response was simply, ""ok."" She didn't even care about her customers. It was all around an awful experience, where it felt like we had to wait on our waiter. For a higher priced restaurant, I would expect significantly better service and more effort to satisfy the customer. If I had wanted dirty dishes and careless service then I would've gone to some cheap 24/7 diner. Finally after spending close to an hour in the restaurant and not even receiving our entrees, it was a very good decision to leave and celebrate sweetest day elsewhere.
